I’ve completely deconstructed and rewritten the toolchain build
process so I can update the tools and dependent libraries in a more
controlled fashion. Jumping ahead 8 years in the libtorrent-rasterbar
code and 5 years in the boost code inevitably resulted in a large
chunk of the SDIO code base being broken. As a result, much code,
including the entire updates code, has been rewritten. This I think
has resulted in nicer, easier to maintain code and better front-end
functionality. The downside is the new torrent code no longer supports
Windows XP/Vista so I’ve created a special build without Updates code
that will run on XP. The upside is we now have a special build
completely devoid of torrent code that we can run in ‘sensitive’
environments on any Windows version. I am yet to see a bad cast error
or any issues with ipv6. No doubt we’ll see brand new issues instead.
The language files have been heavily modified for the new functions.
