We appreciate the contributions many of you have been able to make towards repairing the storm damage and keeping a roof over our heads. With your help we’ve been able to complete much of the critical work. There is still work to be done to secure the house and your continued support will be a huge help.

First timer of the forum, but long time user of the SDIO program. been a life-saver when it came down to it. anyways, as is customary for every SDIO update i do, everytime there is an update, i full-sale delete everything of SDIO, and redownload a fresh one, putting it in place of the old, booting it up, and changing the config settings back to my usual choices. Then i go to download the indexes, and if there is an update to anything, i download the driver pack to it, and decide whether to update the driver in question, or keep it as is (I don't download all of the driver packs, unless i'm doing a full update of drivers on another computer and i wanna be thorough in what there is to do)
Now yes, i did see the previous topic here, but its an old one, and this one feels more recent. anyways, i download the indexes straight from the app, and i noticed that it took quite a while longer than usual (and yes, i power cycled my internet router, cleared cache stuff, etc....), but it eventually completed. But then nothing showed up as something to update. I shrug, close the app, and reopen it....but then it asks me if i wanna download driver packs, network drivers, or the indexes. So i figure i'll delete the indexes folder, and download the indexes from the sdio_update torrent, and copy-paste them into the SDIO program folder, yet even then, after rebooting the app, it STILL asks me for those three choices. tl;dr shits wonky, bug reporting it, wat do?
in v1.18, the welcome screen will appear if drivers folder is empty and indexes folder is empty
well, at first, i was going to say it wasn't empty. whether i had it download only the indexes, or imported the indexes from the sdio update torrent, the indexes were put in the right directory and all that
but then, i had the idea of deleting the indexes folder, and my sdio.cfg file, and reconfiguring it again, re-downloading the indexes normally. THIS time, the indexes not only downloaded normally like they did before, but the app seemed to finally recognize them. and when i rebooted the sdio app, it didn't give me the "three choices" window prompt.
i think there was something wrong with the config file at first, guess all i needed was to regen a new one. go figure :/

Turns out it was a legit bug. The latest updates torrent was not quite right. Last night I fixed it and published a new torrent.
