You mean like put the host name into the file name? eg: HOST_hwid-ignore.txt
or possibly hwid-ignore_HOST.txt
Yes please, either is good.
Also, anything that can be done about this? It happens every release and just clutters up the Windows firewall rules
I'd paste a screenshot directly but it doesn't work, so it's attached 🙁

It's safe to remove the rules for the old versions. That's something you'll have to do yourself.

Thanks that's what I do occasionally when I remember, but can't the application register itself as a proper name e.g SDIO rather than the executable name which is what other apps seem to do?
I've posted SDIO v2.0.2 here.
This is just some small bug fixes and code clean-up. Hopefully I haven't broken anything :-/
If all goes well I'll probably add it to next week's update torrent.

It seems as though it might be possible. I'll need to do some research on that.
While I love the new look and design, my downloading rate is incredibly slow for driver updates. I have 70GB to download and the bar just creeps. Anything I can do to speed up the process?

Pedal harder?
download rate is pretty much a function of the number of seeders so the more people seeding, the better off we all are. The first 24 hours of a new update torrent is always a slog.

OK then, I'll just be patient and let it do its thing.
@rdwells It was slow and kept stopping for me. But Glenn has fixed it (for me) with R878.
Hello
I have installed and launch all the V2.0 last versions and rarely I have the bubble help when the pointer is on a driver line.
Actually, with the last version, there are no bubble-help.
(Windows 11 last version with 4k screenmode).
Hi another quick question, which of these is the best approach for seeding SDIO
-
Seed only the newest release since I see new and old versions of SDIO connecting
-
Seed multiple versions: Most driver pack files are identical, but small files like
changelog.txthave the same filename with different content. How should I handle this in qBittorrent to prevent overwrite/recheck loops without duplicating disk space?
Seems to be working ok here. zip up your logs folder and post.Hello

1. grab the latest SDIO_Update.torrent from the web site and load it into qBittorrent
or
2. Run the latest SDIO and let it update all files then run the "Share" function on the Updates dialog.
