So I had to get a new motherboard.
Everything installed with their tool except WiFi and a couple others.
Their WiFi package does not include the hardware ID of their product so I looked into others, found one that did but it wont install.
So I installed SDIO. It installed all the missing stuff except the WiFi, see attached.
The files appear signed and contain the Hardware ID so whats wrong?
I even rebooted with the dont require signature option and tried again.
Thank you for a great product and whatever advice you can offer.
Look in the bottom right section of the popup hint where it says "Section: mediatek.ntamd64.10.0...25336". The recommended driver is targeted to Windows 11, where Windows 11 is defined as builds greater than or equal to 22000. The driver pack has incorrectly identified the driver as Windows 10. When you attempt to install it, Windows will refuse. I notice all drivers for this device are targeted to Windows 11, meaning there are no drivers for this device targeted to Win10 in the driver packs. I did a quick search on Microsoft Update Catalog and note the only drivers for this device are targeted to Win11. I suspect the same will be true if you looked at the OEM driver site.
You may be out of luck for finding Win10 drivers for this device. If you need this machine to do wifi I can only suggest a USB wifi dongle that supports Win10.
I just looked up the specs for this motherboard and it confirms my suspicions. Under "Wireless and Bluetooth" it says "For Windows 10, please note that no driver is available , please refer to the Wi-Fi chipset vendor's website for details."
