We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. After updating to version 1.13.5.772 I find that it has installed five extra icons on the desktop. No matter if I move the icon information back into the program location itself or delete the icons from the desktop when I open SDIO the next time the icons appear on the desktop again. This never happened with older versions.
Up to date Win 11 23H2 system.

Happy to report that your suggestion worked. Ran SDIO_x64_R772.exe from within thr programs folder without those icons appearing on the desktop again. Also pinning this to the taskbar also works without them appearing.
