We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Hi all,
So basically I have always run SDIO from a CD, however my disk has been damaged (and it was quite an old build) so I have downloaded the latest version and burned it to a new disk however it no longer works correctly when run from disk.
SDIO opens and that is all. I no longer have the option to download driver packs or build indexes and I don't get a firewall alert asking to access the internet.
Usually used on my own W10 machines as well as friends W10/W11 machines. Would anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers Rob,
check the cfg file. it may be trying to write the log to the cd and is getting hung up. you can also switch on the console window and see where it gets up to before stopping.
