Hi, this is great, love it, Works great on 3 computers I tried it on.  (v3.19.5)

However, on one computer this program refuses to run. Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz, win10

it just says "stopped working, close program", twice, whenever I try to run it. It doesn't appear to be any settings in the INI.

I saw a similar post where you had a debug version and mentioned missing CPU related code. Figured since this was a server CPU it might be a similar case.

@glenn Well.. Um.. I just ran it again for giggles. Um, now it works. I have a 193 day and 3h uptime, so it wasn't a reboot fix.

No idea what changed, All I did was use the browser and file manager, was in standby a bit too. First time I've seen something not start on this pc and it fixed itself.

@glenn I guess you mean edition or update pack, to me 7/8/10/11 is the windows version number. Pro and home are editions and the 22H2 is an update.

Anyway,  win10 pro 22h2

I don't see any log in the program folder, found it in C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\DesktopInfo\
Here you go.

I see you're getting access denied on a wmi query

2025-05-21 19:13:14:380 DEBUG [DoProc]
2025-05-21 19:13:14:380 DEBUG [GetCustomWMI]
2025-05-21 19:13:14:380 DEBUG [GetCustomWMI] Namespace=root\wmi Query=MSAcpi_ThermalZoneTemperature
2025-05-21 19:13:14:384 ERROR [GetCustomWMI] [e:EOleException Access denied]
2025-05-21 19:13:14:397 ERROR STACK DUMP
2025-05-21 19:13:14:384 TIMING [TCollector.GetItemData] uid:wmi2 - (time: 16ms)
2025-05-21 19:13:14:384 DEBUG [ProcessData] wmi2
2025-05-21 19:13:14:384 ERROR [ProcessData] wmi2 : Access denied

that doesn't seem to be fatal though. There's nothing there to indicate why it was getting shut down so I can't really offer anything. You might want to run as admin to get past the access denied.

Don't see a way to edit that last post. Ignore the zip, was on wrong pc. The PC with the issue doesn't seem to have a log file or folder in roaming.

That log was from a pc it was working fine on.. Not sure what's denied, but it's not needed apparently.

Thanks for the replies and program.. if I can get it to crash again I'll get you a log, if it makes one.
