We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Hi all,

is there a way to outline/contour/frame text (and all other items)? 
We use white text color, but a few users change their backgrounds to white filled images and are unable to see the desktopinfo information. 
And additionally our marketing want to provide a set of background images to our several users, the function for outlining would be great.

You can set up a background colour that will make DTI visible regardless of the background.

[options]

transparency=50

formcolor=#000050

 

where transparency is percent from 0 to 100 (default=100)

formcolor is rgb color. above example will give a blue background.

I have tested it with different font-quality options (and other background colors), but the font is unreadable. See attached screenshot.
Did you have a tip for me?

Yes, but I had hope that the transparency would be have a bigger effect on this. 
Now I have tested with a other color and transparency value, I think it is okay for me (or better say: for our marketing, lol), thank you!
