We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. it seems to be saying it can't find the indicated driver id. try deleting the indexes and let it rebuild them.
Deleted /SDI folder and all its contents
After that index rebuilded.
Tryed then to install the Realtek driver but, sadly, the same result with the same log result 🙁
I wonder if you have any other advise or clue.

My advice is, if the device is working then don't worry about it.
Finally SOLVED
I post here the followed steps:
- Download original Realtek driver installator (from realket.com; .exe of 256 MB)
- Install and run
- Let the Realtek installator do it's job (paradoxically it ends installing an older driver that the one I had)
- Run SDIO and, now yes, it can update the driver; requires reboot.
Theories:
- The Realtek installator makes some kind of clean/fix in the system (OS) when run.
- SDIO itself or the driver update is possible only from an old driver
