Saving found / down...

We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. First, your tool is superb, and I will be donating soon, as you saved me hours of work or rather did what hours on the phone with the fairly useless Lenovo support cost me.

Question: Now that the drivers are found and installed, is there a way to save these files in the future in case I need to reinstall everything and (heaven forbid) you decide to close up shop?

Thanks!

Yes. Once drivers are all installed and working. Open SDIO:

enable expert mode

uncheck all the checkboxes and check the Current checkbox

click Select All

click Extract To...

This will create a backup copy of SDIO with the selected drivers indexed and ready to go.

It seems to have worked. What happened when you tried it?

Thank you.
