Hello.

I have seen (and this has been discussed before) that some bright mind at Intel thought it was a good idea to stamp Intel's creation date as drivers date. So when using SDIO it shows that latest chipset version for some platforms is 10.1.1.44 and 10.1.2.80 respectively while 10.1.1.45 and 10.1.3.0 is available but with a date of 07/12/1968 or something like that.

So SDIO assumes 10.1.1.45 is OLDER than 10.1.1.44 because of aforementioned 1968 date.

This behaviour also happens when using Windows Update although I have seen WU installing some drivers dated 1970 too, that may be overwritten with older versions if you run SDIO and doesn't pay attention.

So, it would be real nice if there was an option/toggle to override dates and check driver version first.

I have found a 10.1.1.45 driverpack with correct date entries (02/01/2018).
