We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Hi Glenn.
I tried using Snappy Driver Installer Origin.
It is very good.
Unfortunately, it detected, but didn't have ASMedia USB Root Hub.
After a few months of looking, I finally found a working driver.
This thread on Windows 10 Forums will explain it all and give you a link to the driver if you wish to add it to Snappy.
Kind regards,
Stigg
Can you point to exactly which driver is missing?
ASMedia USB Root Hub.
The thread that I linked to in the first post explains it in detail.
Ok, thanks. I found a later version in the same location:
USBASMEDIAROOT_Hub&VID1B21&PID2142&VER01166101
Which I've added to the new SDIO driver pack which will be in the next release.
OK. Later than ASMedia Technology Inc - USB - 1.16.61.1 ?
I can't see it there.
I'll let them know on the forum when Snappy has it. 🙂
By the way.
I tried a few other driver updaters, and none of them had a working version.
It seems like it only got fixed about mid May this year.
