We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. I have windows installing with autounattend.xml from <a href=" removed link ">Generate autounattend.xml files for Windows 10/11 so it removes bloatware and sets up windows with some windows programs removed and sets up task bar and was looking to add your desktopinfo to install with a script or through $OEM$ folder.
@halfords45 I didn't know you could do that 😆 But it looks like something I should be doing. What kind of thing do you need DTI to do?
at the moment i run the xml and remove a fair bit of microsoft rubbish then switch on the old context menu move the start back to the left, puts icons on the desktop i need but i would love to get your program installed and running to setup up my pc info for each pc i have on the network when i do a reinstall on a bank of pc's. will desktop info run silent with a script? only just started working on this to simplify my setup as i some times have to setup 5 to 10 pcs's at once.
Update: now have desktopinfo installed and running on first load of window's using unattend.xml. 😀 Windows now loads uncluttered and no interaction from start to finish.
read old post about screensaver being fixed as we dont need "old toys" is it possible to get it to move? just to get away from a static image just sitting in centre?
