I can't get the SUB...

We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Hello

I'm new to Desktop Info and can't figure out how to get the SUB command to work.

OSBUILD2=hidden:1,set:whatwindows=%1[sub:11,7]
TEXT=wide:1,display:%whatwindows%

I've tried different combinations of these commands without getting what I want: "Windows 11 Pro" removing "Microsoft" from the beginning of the OSBUILD2 response: "Microsoft Windows 11 Pro".

I always get "Microsoft Windows 11 Pro[sub:11,7]"

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, best regards.

There's an error in the documentation. The sub should have 2 colons and no comma.

OSBUILD2=hidden:1,set:whatwindows=%1[sub:11:7]
TEXT=wide:1,display:%whatwindows%
