Hi Glenn and may I thank you kind sir for your amazing utility! I have been using and loving ❤️ it for many years, so many I can't remember not using it...
I have curated my own display merging many great ideas into my version. v3.21.0 is the last working version to correctly display the Unicode symbols I have been using to enhance the visual look. Please find excerpt below with clock and calendar symbols next to the displayed value.
# date and time
DATETIME=style:b,interval:30,font-size:24,display:🕒 %5[2.0d]:%6[2.0d]
#(AM/PM) DATETIME=style:b,interval:30,font-size:24,display:%5[1.0a]:%6[2.0d]%5[2.0p]
DATETIME=style:b,interval:60,font-size:14,display: 📅 %1[dddd]\, %2 %3[mmmm] %4[yyyy]
I believe calendar is U+1F4C5 and date is U+1F552. When opened in latest version they no longer display correctly. Do I need to do something different or is this something you can make work again? Let me know if you want the entire ini file.
There was a subtle change to how Desktop Info reads the ini file to do with what the contents look like. Sometimes it gets it wrong. You can work around that guess by saving the file as UTF-8 with BOM. This positively identifies the file as UTF-8 instead of DTI trying to guess.
