If you would prefer me keep this place quiet of the main user traffic let me know. Not seeing another route, is this the way to report application issues, package/driver issues, or even the fuzzy area in between where origin offers adi package which is merged into others (in 2017?) and therefore not found in the source of the packages anymore? Still wonder about some of the history that wasn’t clear among a few other questions too.
In any case, thanks for keeping it alive.
I’m looking after the C++ code but I don’t have any input into the driver packs. I don’t know what “adi package” is. SDIO is in “maintenance mode” right now, I’ll fix bugs in the C++ code and release the monthly updates with driver packs and indexes. There’s not much else going on.
I know of some of the history but feel like I missed out on parts. adi is sound_adi package which was merged into sound_others. That is why it hasn’t been receiving updates for a long time as it is no longer separate at upstream’s work and doesn’t show when having snappy check their torrent. I noticed stuff like that when trying to check over package differences since I thought I recalled badpointer0 used to do some of his own packaging different from upstream. Removal likely requires adding a delete of all of that package instead of all but the newest. I had some reports of missed dialogs that should have been autoclicked and such but not sure what I may still have around that would be relevant. Are SDIO donations shared with the driver packager? Any guess if the nonorigin version of the program has any driver processing differences? any reason for no support or discussion areas on sourceforge pages?
if badpointer did any driver pack manipulation, he didn’t tell me. for the year that we worked together on it, we simply grabbed the latest driver packs and included them in the sdi torrent.
