SDIO doesn’t connect to network

SO I just downloaded SDIO (v1.12.9) and the problem is that the program itself says: “Connect to the Internet to download driver packs or put unpacked drivers in the following folder drivers”. I imagine this has something to do with my connection (PPPoE through my own router, I live in a student dorm and this is the way to connect) since downloading the driverpacks with a torrent client does also not work. Is there a different way to download the driver packs?

Unfortunately no. The total driver packs is now over 30GB so torrent is the only viable solution.
