    Hello,

We recently deployed DesktopInfo to replace BGInfo in our environment, and we’ve been very happy with it.

A question did come up asking if we could display DesktopInfo on every screen. I believe this was covered in the manual under monitor modes but wanted to confirm. Is there a way to display DesktopInfo on all monitors attached to the system instead of just one?

This is mostly so it’s easier for the end user to find it, without having to minimize all of their windows. I know we could just move it to be on the secondary monitor, but having it on all would be nice at times. Understandable if this is not an option, just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed something.

    Thanks in advance,

    Josh

You can run multiple copies of Desktop Info, each using a different ini file, each placing it in a different monitor/position. You could make a batch file to do this:

    start desktopinfo.exe desktopinfo-1.ini
    start desktopinfo.exe desktopinfo-2.ini
    start desktopinfo.exe desktopinfo-3.ini

    Ah! Makes sense.

So simple I didn’t even consider it.

    Thanks!
