    • Updating driver packs never ends – seeding Aloha Glenn. I'm running SDIO 1.71 on Windows 10 Home. I execute SDIO_x64_R721.exe and it tells me that there are 52 updated driver packs available. So, I click on the top bar and it tells me it's going to download 20 GB of data. Cool. I go eat lunch and come back and look at the progress. The top bar no longer indicates that it is 'downloading' 20Gb of data, but it is 'seeding' and it's over 40 GB. I can not figure out how to get it to stop seeding and tell me that everything has been update...

    • There is probably a virus in the Realtek audio driver with the date 09.06.2020 Hi, :) Windows 10, 1909 Problem with: Realtek High Definition Audio driver, version 6.0.8967.1 from 09.06.2020. A few days ago I wanted to update my drivers. Every driver I installed except the Realtek audio one was working fine. I couldn't open the Realtek tray icon/gui thing: RtkNGUI64.exe and after trying, the circle that shows something is working in the background beneath my mouse cursor, appears every 3 or 4 seconds. Windows defender then found a malicious file in the temp folder, that I...

    • Failed to install, error 0 Hello, What does it mean when sdio shows the message "Failed to install, error 0"? It happens when I select a driver to install and click the "install" button. A green bar appears saying "Installation completed. Click here to hide installed drivers" But the bar of the selected driver shows the message "Failed to install, error 0" Cheers, Sven

    • Snappy on NAS Hi, I use snappy to update driver machines in my workshop. I configured it to work in unatended from my network storage, but I have a problem - when the updates are installed often network devices go offline for a moment becouse o new drivers. Is there a way to make snappy wait for resources to become available again or run It in multiple passes?

    • Driver packs in .CAB format? Hi... Thanks for SDIO....great tool. Just wondering if in the future the developers might consider adding an option/feature to be able to read driverpacks from .CAB format files? All of our PCs/laptops are almost all Dell, and I download model specific .CAB driverpack files via the Dell Driver Pack Catalog (see https://www.dell.com/support/article/en-ie/how14097/driver-pack-catalog?lang=en). Right now, to make these work with SDIO, I unpack the CAB files and re-pack as .7z files. It would b...

    • IBtUsb_Filter_00 / ASMedia USB Root Hub Hi Glenn. I tried using Snappy Driver Installer Origin. It is very good. Unfortunately, it detected, but didn't have ASMedia USB Root Hub. After a few months of looking, I finally found a working driver. This thread on Windows 10 Forums will explain it all and give you a link to the driver if you wish to add it to Snappy. Kind regards, Stigg

    • Intel(R) HD Graphics 27.20.100.8587 broken Hi, I just want to report that the driver for "Intel(R) HD Graphics" version "27.20.100.8587" give "error 3AFC". Then I have tried the version "27.20.100.8581" and instead it works correctly. I'm reporting it so that the problem can be fixed; the driver may be broken in general or just on this motherboard. Motherboard brand: Asus Motherboard model: X541UV OS: Win 10 64-bit Best regards, ale5000

    • Command line switch for daemon mode? Howdy, I really like your tool. I work with a lot of PC's and a lot of older hardware that often lacks manufacturers support for more modern OS's. I think it would be useful, not sure how possible, to have a command line switch for SDI that would let it run and only update the driver packs but totally in the background. That is not have the app and the window for the app but perhaps just an entry in the system tray that perhaps would show you the UL and DL progress and the torrent status. T...
