Error: install : Nothing selected First off, SDIO is wonderful - very grateful for such a simple and effective product. Thanks Glenn! I'm attempting to update via script for the first time. If I open SDIO on the target computer, there are approximately 10 updates needed - all show "Updated driver available" or "Updated driver available which is also more optimal". When I execute the command calling oakslabs-test.txt (with enableinstall off or on), the end of the output reads: echo Downloading and Installing drivers... 0 driv...

Error… Exception: std::bad_alloc Hi! I Always (not always, but very often :-)) get an error message after starting SDIO... There is a Windows with a red x saying "Exception: std::bad_alloc / The Programm will self terminate now"... Get this message since three or four revisions, actually I am using the rev 1.6.0. Using it as portable Version with an external USB drive… Any idea?

ATI Radeon HD5450 driver Hi, SDIO is working extremely well, but it is prompting to update my ATI Radeon HD5450 driver, with the latest set of AMD drivers. The last release for the HD5000 range by AMD is here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/ati-radeon-hd-5000-series/ati-radeon-hd-5450 Dated 2015. No other (non-beta) updates work. Is there anyway of stopping SDIO (not just for me) from prompting to update past the last official release driver for the HD5000 range? Windows 10 (1909) 64bit fully...

Driver ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series for Windows XP-SP2 x64 Edition Good evening. There is a desire to add the driver ATI Radeon HD 4800 series version 8.950.0.0 for WinXP SP2 x64 Edition to the driver pack. In my experience, this is the latest stable version of the driver for this operating system. With newer versions, BSOD takes place during the work of some calculation programs (in particular, BOINC-manager v.7.14.2). Depending on the installed driver version, the error descriptions were different, now I don’t remember ... SDI v.1.6.1 with DP AMD-XP 20...

Move the SDIO project to GitHub? I think you should consider moving the source code of the Snappy Driver Installer to Github, so it could get more contributors as there are many users that can help with the project and effective issue reporting etc. Github would be the better source code hosting option IMO.

Telegram chat community It would be really nice to be possible for the contributors & users of SDIO to communicate in real time, so i created a SDIO Telegram group. Plus, i found no way of contacting you (main dev Glenn) There are many Telegram groups for various open source projects. If you (main dev) have a telegram, please join the group or create an account so i can make you an admin. If you don't want this, i can as well remove it, but i will make you an "owner" and you can remove me as admin if you want. Grou...➤

ADI Driverpacks First of all, thank you for developing and maintaining this essential utility. SDIO includes the driverpack DP_Sound_ADI_17000, however, ADI drivers were migrated to the DP_Sound_Others_* pack. Therefore, could the older ADI pack be removed from future releases, and could the del_old_driverpacks.bat script be modified to delete it?

So this is where you have been hiding? If you would prefer me keep this place quiet of the main user traffic let me know. Not seeing another route, is this the way to report application issues, package/driver issues, or even the fuzzy area in between where origin offers adi package which is merged into others (in 2017?) and therefore not found in the source of the packages anymore? Still wonder about some of the history that wasn't clear among a few other questions too. In any case, thanks for keeping it alive.
