We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Hello, i made an account to note an apparent bug(?) i have a nvidia 4070 super ti gpu, and for some reason after downloaded indexes etc, sdio is showing a updated driver being "nvidia geforce rtx 5050 laptop gpu (this is obviously not a laptop and the wrong driver)

im reporting this because im not sure if it's a mismatch on sdio's end or what, (it seems the "laptop gpu driver" is actually trying to update my nvme controller) but i'd like to make it known regardless, since finding sdio i've been entrusting it to update the drivers i cannot find by other means, i KNOW this driver is not meant for my device, but imagining another more in-depth driver i dont know isn't for my device, is what i worry about

anyways, here's some screenshots showing what i mean:

edit: turns out i can only upload one image? this one is more relevant so here it is

Thanks for the report. I'll need to study this.  Meanwhile can you try deleting the indexes and letting SDIO recreate them.

@jeffbezos Can you look up Device Manager for the Standard NVMe Express Controller, open Properties, go to the details page, select Compatible IDs and post the found entries.

fantastic. The second one matches the CompatibleID section above. I'm guessing if you select Hardware IDs in device manager that will match the HardwareID section above.

@jeffbezos earlier you said, "i actually have 2 controllers one on pci bus 2 and one on 5, so i am posting both compatible id's in full"

you posted screen shots of "Compatible IDs" for both devices.  After that you posted "Hardware IDs" for just the first device.  I also want a screen shot for "Hardware IDs" for the second device.

@glenn ahh my apologies, i misunderstood, i posted hardware id's of the second screenshot, as i thought that's what you were asking.

Here's a pic of the hardware id's from the first device in that screenshot

can you post the most recent *.snp file in the logs directory.  You may need to zip it.
