We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. Iβm hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month wonβt mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Hello.
Using latest SDIO v1.12.12.753
Does anyone know why "Updated driver available (internet)" appears and why they always fail to install with error code 0?.
This message appears when you've downloaded the latest indexes but not necessarily all the driver packs and SDIO detects a driver on your system can be updated. The updated driver is available but you have to let it download so it can install it.
The error code 0 is a very informative way of telling you that something went wrong π Could be the driver pack didn't download or failed to unzip etc. Maybe go to updates and get the correct driver pack successfully downloaded first then try to install the driver.
When testing recently i kept hitting the same thing..
And am still left with the error everytime i try update.
Seemed to be failing to install my LAN Driver Via Script..
Which i found strange cause it updated all my other drivers not a problem.

When looking at that version number (Version: 1168.12.320.2023) it seems clear that is bad. You can install next driver on the list which is this one attached. Must be some index mismatch or something.
Thanks eLPuSHeR
Can i ask how i would go about installing the next driver on the list?
I'm quite new to SDIO and am automating a Bat/Script.txt and it sounds very useful if i could somehow install next drivers if a driver fails to install π
Would i use.. -install <HWID> <infile>
and if so how would i go about getting the info like that png you uploaded?
Appreciate the help!
Unfortunately I have never used the command line version so I cannot help you here. For GUI version you just click on the right to use the pull-down menu.
Ah ok, thanks eLPuSHeR π
SDIO is showing Win11 only driver available for Win10 system. Install error obviously due to system mismatch.
It seems fixed for me after downloading latest driverpacks.
Ah yea i did notice the incorrect OS issue and took a screenshot which i will attach.
(not sure why it thinks i'm running windows 11)
I will Run SDIO and try update latest driverpacks again.
Thanks guys, Appreciate the assistance π
Edit: I Still Seem to be having the same issue but i'm not overly concerned about that driver tbh, Really loving SDIO with or without that lan driver update π
It's looking like an issue with that release of Realtek drivers.
