The most problem is not fixed.
1- i download index file
2- i must close and restart snappy (otherwise, it doesn't do anything)
3- several seconds for open again snappy, click on consent for privacy, click for windows 11 firewall consent
4- Finally I see the list of drivers to update or install
@loris783 I noticed it takes a little while to process the new indexes which the gui doesn't show. I'll try to make it more obvious what's happening.
Other problem is windows defender, in the past i have to switch off only realtime protection, today i have to switch off several items, control unwanted app, control app, Smart App Control (and totally switch off Device security)

I'm testing beta 3. So far, so good.
My only observation is that I think the first time I selected all drivers to download, the download started before I clicked the download button.

Yes, I came from the Welcome dialog.
I didn't notice it after running SDIO again after the first time.
@stigg That makes sense.I get people telling me they don't know what to do get it started, so I automated the tasks on those Welcome buttons to help. All you have to do is click and watch it work. It acts to get people started and also to show you how it works.

Meiner Meinung nach ist dieser sogenannte Schutz von Microsoft sehr weit über das Ziel hinaus geschossen. Von diesen ganzen Beschränkungen ist nicht nur SDIO betroffen sondern alle mögliche Open Source Software. Sogar mein e-mail Programm wird zeitweise in Funktionen beschnitten.
Nun habe ich gedacht ich probiere mal die Beta-Version. Das Programm startet und der download beginnt auch.... nach 1% bricht sämtlicher download ab und es passiert nichts mehr. Ich habe SDIO beendet und SDIO_x64_R838.exe gestartet seid dem läuft der download erst einmal...

In my opinion, this so-called protection from Microsoft has gone way too far. Not only SDIO is affected by these restrictions, but all sorts of open-source software. Even my email program's functionality is temporarily limited.
So I thought I'd try the beta version. The program starts and the download begins... but after 1%, the entire download stops and nothing happens. I closed SDIO and started SDIO_x64_R838.exe, and since then the download has been running...

Es gibt die Möglichkeit, das reicht aber soweit ich festgestellt habe oft nicht aus. Leider müssen zu oft ganze Komponenten abgeschaltet werden.
Ob manche Sachen über Policies ec. zu regeln geht weiß ich nicht sollte man sich als normaler User auch keine Gedanken darüber machen müssen.
