EULA agreement and ...

We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Every time I run the program I have to accept the EULA and redownload the index and then re-download the packs.  Is this something that's glitched out or what?

I can and have installed some updates thru the program so its not like the program isn't/hasn't worked at all, just slightly annoying?

(one other thing, the machine's boot drive is F: and HAS a C: drive but its a ZIP disk drive.  I installed windows XP on a pre-partitioned harddrive thru linux and it ended up with an A, C, D and F drive, with the A drive being a 5.25" floppy drive, the C being a ZIP250 drive, the D being the CD-ROM drive, the E drive slot being the initially unformatted second partition and the F drive the bootable partition, and i'm installing the SDIO program on the E: data drive.)

sounds like you have it on a read-only drive?
