We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Hello from Germany!

Im new to snappy installer.

Is it possible to add the DELL CAB-Files (set of compressed driver files for each machine)
instead of unzipping the CAB-file and repack to .7z file?

Here is the link to the CAB file for DELL Latitude 5590 laptop:

Thx

I know the 7z gui supports CAB files. What I can't determine is whether the open source code used by SDIO supports CAB files. I've found no reference in the source code and there's no developer's documentation that I've discovered.

So I guess the answer is no until someone can point me to the 7z code in question.

I imagine it wouldn't be hard to write a batch file to convert cab files to 7z files.
