I've updated the thread title and made it sticky to make this the place to submit drivers.
2 additional drivers that were marked as "Unknown" + Some hotfixes for the Norwegian SDIO translation.
Hi Glenn,
Submitting an updated ASMedia USB 3.1 xHCI driver. The current packs contain v1.16.41.3 (10/7/2016) which causes a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (0x3B) BSOD on modern boards. Replacement driver: ASMedia USB 3.1 xHCI v1.16.61.1 (5/20/2020), WHQL-signed, x64. See attached.
Pack entries to update:
ASMedia USB3.1 eXtensible Host Controller — 1.16.41.3 (10/7/2016) 10x64
ASMedia USB Root Hub — 1.16.41.3 (10/7/2016) 10x64
Generic USB Hub (×4) — 1.16.45.1 (3/1/2017) 10x64
v1.16.61.1 is the latest WHQL-signed version available as of March 2026. Thanks!
Hello,
Thanks for maintaining SDIO, I've used it on an old system I didn't want to put online (also searching for drivers is tedious) and it handled most drivers very well!
My (way too old) Packard Bell EasyNote E4716 has an exotic driver for a scroll button (under the trackpad). I had trouble finding it online (the <a href=" removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener">Packard Bell drivers server seems to have been shut down following its acquisition by Acer), ended up copying it from the original disk of the system. I'm not sure if the driver is WHQL-compliant, it definitely comes with some useless components (like Icon.exe and some dubious DLL files) - but it works! This device is exposed under a unique identifier "MTC0003" for which SDIO had no driver available, I think it can't hurt to include it as "Packard Bell EasyNote Scroll Bar Driver V1.4.0.5" for Windows XP x86.
Here's driver packs extracted from my Razer Blade 17 2022. Hope they help.

@tpxp wow that's old! 🙂 It verified ok so I've added it to the driver packs. I'm not sure how it will present itself. Have a look in next week's SDIO packs.
