Virtual server with...

We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Click on the big blue button at the bottom of the page to help us keep a roof over our heads, literally!

Hi,

I have installed DesktopInfo to our (virtual)Server (windows server 2022)
Works fine, but when I am logged in and DesktopInfo shows nicely, when my co-worker takes RD connection to that same server, nothing shows up.
Installed via Task Scheduler, "run when user logs in". I have StartInPath and INIpath in place, and accessible. Runs with highest privilidge.

BTW. very good program

Is DTI running but not visible? Does it appear in task manager?

is your co-worker able to successfully run DTI manually?

It is running in the context of the user. When another user logs in via rdp that user will want to run their own copy of Desktop Info.

@glenn So how to fix (if possible)?
We would like that everyone that logs via rdp, even if there is other user logged in, sees DesktopInfo.

I think the following is how to do it:

Run Task Scheduler as admin

General: When running the task, use the following user account

Triggers: At log on of any user

Actions: Full path names
