I could not find in the readme how that works. I changed the fArial to fWebdings but got garbled icons over my 'header'Could you elaborate a bit on how that all works and what font sets may be supported? I like the look of the tool when using it as its really a more modern look then.Thanks, Roger.
the \f part sets a font name where \fdti\ is an internal dti font. everything else is a windows installed font. To use webdings you would put \fwebdings\ followed by the required character. Note the font declaration is enclosed in backslashes. To figure out the font character you want to use fire up the windows charmap tool (assuming your eyesight is still good enough to see things that small!)
\fwebdings\É should give you a modem (i think is what that is)
All following characters are interpreted in the same font until you declare a new font.

I'm probably an idiot, but could someone point me in the right direction for the mapping? I'm looking at the character maps and online mapping and I can't figure out how to get a symbol correct in DesktopInfo. For example, using Wingdings and = should give me a Disk Symbol, but I get something completely different.
COMMENT=rich-text:1,font-size:20, text:\fwebdings\=\fVerdana\ System \i\Host Leah

You need to add the rich-text option to enable fonts and things:
comment=rich-text:1, display:\fwebdings\¿\fverdana\Hello world
That upside down question mark is the character I've pasted in from character map. The "\fwebdings\" part is how to select the font.
I use the "Symbols Nerd Font" in my DTI ini file. It has lots of tech icons (and others, 10000+ in total).
