Desktop Info v3.19....

We had a major storm through here recently and we suffered damage to the house roof and ceilings. I just received the quote to repair. I’m hoping that a small fraction of the 80,000 odd people that download SDIO and/or Desktop Info every month won’t mind chipping in a few dollars to help out. Click on the big blue button at the bottom of the page to help us keep a roof over our heads, literally!

Version 3.19.4
May 2025
Change 1: Fixed crash in W mode scroll wheel on Windows 7.
Change 2: You can set server-port or server-ssl-port to -1 so that you don’t have to have both if you don’t
want to.
Change 3: Moved CPUUSAGE code to standard PDH code. There is no change to functionality. It is no
longer deprecated.
Change 4: Fixed visual alignment issue with chart and text on the same line.
Change 5: BTDEVICES services may be listed all on one line or one per line.
Change 6: Reverted taskbar handling code for desktop and screen saver builds.
Change 7: Added additional return values to CPUTYPE.
Change 8: Added a common option, values-to-rows. This converts a single row with many values into many
rows with a single value. For those times when you just want every field from a query, eg WMI, REG2 etc.
The value names are displayed in the left column, the values are displayed in the right column. No other
processing is performed.
Change 9: The command line option to specify an ini file will now accept a url so you can retrieve an ini
from an online file sharing resource such as DropBox or Google Drive.

Just updated from 3.19.3 to 3.19.4 and I think something is a little off, as I lost of lot of my left-hand side text values and spacing got really weird.

@nathan_k I can't tell much looking at that screenshot.  Which lines are off?

@glenn I took another screenshot of 3.19.3 and put it side by side with the one from 3.19.4 and highlighted the differences. Same config on both.

ok. They're all text plus chart in the right column. I can't reproduce that here. Can you post your ini please.

I just reproduced it 🙂

I do see that the left-column seems to be missing the padding it used to have, maybe 2 px worth or so?

Got it.  I've uploaded a new build. Didn't bother to update the version number.
